All I want is a room somewhere....

On the 15th of July, in the year 2000, I press-ganged my sweet, long-suffering mother into chauffeur service, and went looking for condominiums.

I saw two, and made an offer for one.

I had the sensation that I was sitting in a roller coaster, looking down into what promised to be a wild ride.

On the 18th of July, at 12:38 pm (EDT), my realtor contacted me to let me know that the offer had been accepted.

The roller coaster began to move.
